See that little white spot in the middle of the photo? That’s the descent stage of the Apollo 11 Lunar Excursion Module, Eagle, photographed by NASA’s Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter. And these is just one of the first images, taken before LRO reached its final orbit. Future images will have two or three times the resolution. I can’t wait.
