Mac OS X 10.5.3 now syncs Address Book with Google Contacts
But, it’s only for iPhone and iPod touch users, and only when syncing (manually) with iTunes. And it will fill your Address Book with whatever crap Gmail has automatically added to its address book. So, my suggestion: get Spanning Sync, which syncs automatically and lets you delete all the crap on Gmail before syncing. (Via Ars Technica.)
